Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all ticket purchases made through the Hypebuzz Events Limited ("Hypebuzz", "we", "us", or "our") platform at https://hypebuzzke.com (the "Platform").
Hypebuzz Does Not Issue Refunds
Hypebuzz Events Limited operates solely as a ticketing and payment intermediary platform. We do not organize, host, or control events, and therefore we do not have the authority to issue refunds for ticket purchases.
2. Hypebuzz's Role as Intermediary
Hypebuzz provides technology infrastructure and payment processing services that enable Event Organisers to sell tickets for their events. Our role is limited to:
- Processing ticket transactions on behalf of Event Organisers
- Delivering digital tickets to purchasers
- Collecting service fees for our platform services
- Facilitating communication between Event Organisers and ticket holders
All events are the sole responsibility of the respective Event Organisers.Any decisions regarding refunds, cancellations, postponements, or changes to events are made exclusively by Event Organisers, not by Hypebuzz.
3. How to Request a Refund
3.1 Contact the Event Organiser
All refund requests must be directed to the relevant Event Organiserfor the event in question. Hypebuzz cannot process, approve, or deny refund requests.
Steps to Request a Refund:
- Locate the Event Organiser's contact information (usually provided in your ticket confirmation email or on the event page)
- Contact the Event Organiser directly via their provided email, phone number, or contact form
- Provide your ticket order number, purchase details, and reason for the refund request
- Follow the Event Organiser's specific refund process and timelines
3.2 Event Organiser Refund Policies
Each Event Organiser sets their own refund policy, which may vary significantly between events. Common refund scenarios include:
- Event Cancellation: If an event is cancelled by the organiser
- Event Postponement: If an event is rescheduled to a different date
- Significant Changes: If there are major changes to event details (venue, lineup, duration, etc.)
- Other Circumstances: As specified in the Event Organiser's individual refund policy
Note: Some events may have a "no refund" policy regardless of circumstances. Always review the Event Organiser's refund policy before purchasing tickets.
4. Non-Refundable Service Fees
All Service Fees Are Strictly Non-Refundable
Hypebuzz charges a service fee for processing each ticket transaction. This fee covers the cost of payment processing, technology infrastructure, ticket delivery, and platform maintenance.
4.1 Service Fee Policy
Under no circumstances will Hypebuzz refund service fees, including but not limited to cases of:
- Event cancellation by the Event Organiser
- Event postponement or rescheduling
- Changes to event details (venue, lineup, time, etc.)
- Inability to attend the event for personal reasons
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Duplicate purchases or accidental transactions
- Technical issues during the event
- Dissatisfaction with the event experience
4.2 Service Fee Transparency
Service fees are clearly displayed and itemized during the checkout process before you complete your purchase. By proceeding with the purchase, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You have reviewed and understood the service fee amount
- Service fees are separate from the ticket price set by the Event Organiser
- Service fees are non-refundable under any circumstances
- Even if the Event Organiser refunds the ticket price, the service fee will not be refunded
5. Refund Processing (When Approved by Event Organiser)
If an Event Organiser approves your refund request:
5.1 What Gets Refunded
- Ticket Price: The base price of the ticket(s) as set by the Event Organiser may be refunded (subject to their policy)
- Service Fees: Will NOT be refunded under any circumstances
5.2 Refund Timeline
If approved by the Event Organiser, refunds are typically processed within:
- MPesa: 1-3 business days
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
- Bank Transfer: 3-7 business days
Note: Refund timelines are subject to the Event Organiser's processing times and payment provider capabilities. Hypebuzz cannot expedite refund processing.
5.3 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot process refunds to a different payment method or account.
6. Special Circumstances
6.1 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you believe you have been charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a technical error, please contact us immediately at support@hypebuzzke.com with:
- Your order number(s)
- Transaction reference number(s)
- Payment confirmation(s)
- Screenshots of the duplicate charges
We will investigate the matter and, if confirmed, process a refund for the duplicate charge(s) excluding service fees.
6.2 Fraudulent Transactions
If you believe your payment method was used fraudulently to purchase tickets through our Platform, please:
- Contact your bank or payment provider immediately to report the fraud
- File a dispute or chargeback through your bank
- Contact us at support@hypebuzzke.com with details of the fraudulent transaction
We will cooperate with legitimate fraud investigations and chargeback processes.
6.3 Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.) that result in event cancellation or postponement, refund decisions remain the sole responsibility of Event Organisers. Hypebuzz service fees remain non-refundable even in force majeure situations.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider should only be done in cases of unauthorized or fraudulent transactions. Chargebacks for legitimate purchases are considered a violation of these terms and may result in:
- Suspension or termination of your Hypebuzz account
- Cancellation of your tickets without refund
- Blacklisting from future purchases on the Platform
- Legal action to recover losses and fees incurred
Before initiating a chargeback: Please contact the Event Organiser first to resolve any disputes. If you need assistance, contact us at support@hypebuzzke.com.
8. Situations Where Refunds Are Not Provided
Hypebuzz and Event Organisers typically do not provide refunds in the following situations:
- Change of mind or inability to attend for personal reasons
- Failure to present valid identification at the event
- Failure to bring your ticket or proof of purchase
- Denied entry due to violation of event rules or code of conduct
- Denied entry due to intoxication or disorderly behavior
- Late arrival or missing part of the event
- Dissatisfaction with event content, performers, or experience
- Weather conditions (unless the event is officially cancelled)
- Traffic, transportation issues, or parking difficulties
- Minor changes to event schedule, lineup, or format

While Hypebuzz cannot process refunds, we are here to assist you with:
- Connecting you with Event Organisers
- Providing Event Organiser contact information
- Resolving technical issues with ticket delivery
- Answering questions about your purchase
- Investigating duplicate charge claims

10. Changes to This Refund Policy
Hypebuzz reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
11. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
Acknowledgment and Agreement
By purchasing tickets through the Hypebuzz Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy. You specifically acknowledge that:
- Hypebuzz does not issue refunds for ticket purchases
- All refund requests must be directed to Event Organisers
- Hypebuzz service fees are non-refundable under all circumstances
- You have reviewed the Event Organiser's refund policy before purchasing
